The Viadrina MBA Management for Central and Eastern Europe takes young leaders farbeyond theoretical textbook knowledge. It provides state of the art business management know-how and in the same time brings in the view from the practice. The faculty consists of about 90 lecturers from about 12 nations, including Professors, Senior Managers, Trainers and Business Consultants. The teaching method follows a simple principle: Learn today - use tomorrow?. The MBA program, a co-operation between European University Viadrina in Frankfurt and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, takes place in the Polish town of Slubice, and also in Frankfurt/Oder in easternmost Germany. To go from one class to another, the students have only to cross a bridge across the river Oder. European University Viadrina wants to getting closer with the European neighbors. The motto of the Viadrina MBA Program is: “We prepare professionals, junior managers and managers in a comprehensive way for the managing of companies, people and cross-cultural projects in the international context of Central and Eastern Europe.” This focus on Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) differentiates the MBA at the program from other MBA offerings and makes it unique.
While most Part Time MBA studies attract people from the region the Viadrina MBA takes a different approach and today we are proud to be among the most international Part Time MBA Programs in Europe: The participants of each class represent 12 to 14 nations. They come from Poland and Germany as well as from Switzerland, Czech Republic, the UK, Albania, Romania, Hungary etc. Some students even live in Siberia (!) and travel over 5 time zones each two months to attend the on-site instruction week. If you look for a truly European Program this is it! |
