  People make the decision to study for an MBA for a variety of reasons. These often include the desire to gain promotion or the wish to change career.

The students on our course are talented young professionals who are extremely keen to improve their understanding of managerial, administrative and intercultural skills. Most importantly they want to develop their managerial ability so that in their further careers they are able to take into account the “big picture” when planning and making decisions. The interdisciplinary nature of the MBA program moulds individuals into good “all round” leaders. During the MBA program students will develop long lasting links. This network of contacts will very likely be extremely useful to them in the future.

The Program participants come from various cultural backgrounds as well as from diverse international business environments. The European Union countries where students have come from to take part in the MBA program so far are : Austria, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia. The European countries outside the EU where former students have hailed from are: Albania, Belarus, Georgia, Serbia and the Ukraine. Some previous participants have come from farther away namely Russia, Turkey and even Mongolia.

When considering the 2010/11 intake to the MBA program 92% of students came from European countries and 8% from Asia. Women comprised 47% of the participants and the average age was 31.
